Description
After a long break I finally finished this drawing of Marilyn Monroe.
I had never realized how perfect she was until I drew her!
I had drawn 6 portraits of men before this one so it was kind of nice changeover to draw woman.
About the drawing:
I started with a sketch, then I started shading her face. I love the most drawing people's eyes! I think eyes are the main part of every drawing.
Her hair was kind of challenge to draw but I really enjoyed it. I like drawing blonde people more than dark- haired ones. It is easier, I think
For the background I killed two and half 8B pencils.
Time: 13hours
Used:
Daley Rowney bristol smooth paper, 250g/m3, A4
5H, 3H, 2H, H, HB, 3B, 5B, 7B, 8B
kneaded eraser
tissue paper for blending
Resources are my own.
Well, I hope you like it! Your opinions would make me really happy

Wow this is a brilliant portrait of her. Not many people can capture such a realistic picture with just pencils or any media for that matter. I think her hair is the most real looking feature in this drawing by far. I also think you drew her eyes almost perfectly. How you drew the earrings is also quite outstanding. So many people would want your drawing talent. My only real criticism is to possibly go lighter on the shadow under her chin it may be just a little to heavy. This is one of your best drawings in my opinion, good job!
